John Deaton

John Deaton currently serves as the DBU Fleet Management Director for Europe and North America at Cummins Inc. since May 2023, having previously held the position of Fleet Management Director at CSSNA. Prior experience includes a tenure at MYR Group from September 2008 to May 2023, where roles evolved from Shop Helper-Fourth Step Apprentice to Mechanic, and ultimately to Manager of Fleet Purchasing. Responsibilities included daily task coordination for a team, communication with managers to address equipment needs, job damage assessments, work order creation, and managing financial documents. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Business Administration from Butler University, a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership and Supervision from Purdue University, and a Certificate in Human Resource Management from Purdue University, among other studies.
