John Lester

John Lester is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in the automotive and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering Services at Cummins Inc. since April 2022, John previously held the same title for 30 years at Jacobs Vehicle Systems, where responsibilities included global product design, analysis, and testing. John's career at Jacobs also included roles such as Product Engineering Manager, Business Manager, Program Manager, and Senior Engineer, focusing on new product development and customer account management with significant P&L responsibility. John holds an MBA in Operations Strategy, Financial Management, New Product Development, and Marketing from Rensselaer at Work and a BSME in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.
