Paul Watson

Paul "Doc" Watson serves as the Fundraising Public Relations Coordinator for Tazewell County Resource Centers Inc. since March 2025. Watson has extensive experience in broadcasting and media, having held various roles at CUMULUS MEDIA since October 2010, including Afternoon Classic Rock Show Host, Marketing Consultant, High School Football Play By Play commentator, and Assistant Program Director. Previous positions include Central Communications Operator at Bradley University, Member Specialist at Sam's Club, Weekend Show Host at AMP Media, and Contributing Writer for The Peorian.com. Watson has also worked as a Media Advisor for DK Hirner For Congress in 2010, a Media Pricing Consultant at ShareBuilders, and a Morning Show Host at 1470 WMBD Peoria’s News Talk Station. Doc is still hosting the afternoon show at WGLO in Peoria (part-time).

Educational background includes multiple degrees in Broadcasting, Radio and Television, and Journalism from institutions such as Specs@LTU, Wayne State University, and Western Michigan University.
