Safia Qureshi has over 14 years of experience in the architecture field. In 2007, they began their career as an Architectural Assistant at Studio Egret West, where they worked on the Clapham Library project. Safia then moved to Rick Mather Architects in 2010, where they were an Architectural Assistant on a public sector housing development for the South Kilburn regeneration plan. In 2011, they joined Sheppard Robson as an Architect, leading the Fitzroy Place development in London. In 2013, they founded Studio [D] Tale with Maxwell Mutanda, a design duo based in London and Cape Town. In 2016, they became a Visiting Tutor at Ravensbourne. In 2015, they founded CLUBZERO, a zero waste system for cities, retailers and brands across food and beverage. In 2021, they were appointed as a Packaging Design Judge for D&AD.
Safia Qureshi has a strong educational background in architecture. Safia obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from UCL in 2006, a Master of Arts (MA) from the Royal College of Art in 2010, and a Part 3 - Practical Experience & Professional Studies from the Architectural Association in 2012. In 2013, they were awarded a Chartered Membership of the Royal Institute of British Architects from RIBA, and in 2012 they were registered as an Architect with the Architects Registration Board. In 2015, they completed the Design Kit: The Course for Human-Centered Design from NovoEd.
