Mowgli Holmes is the Director of Science at CUR8 since March 2024. Prior to this, Holmes was the CEO and Founder of Submarine from January 2022 to January 2024, where Mowgli worked on building computational climate models. Mowgli also served as a Strategic Advisor at Phylos from February 2014 to December 2020, focusing on plant genomics. Additionally, Holmes was the Co-Founder of Conception Nurseries from January 2015 to January 2017. With a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology from Columbia University, Holmes also holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from the same institution, and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from Vassar College.
