John Emami

John Emami has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. John currently serves as the VP and General Manager - Align Senior Care at Curana Health since April 2023. Prior to this, they held the role of Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Curana Health from October 2022 to April 2023.

Before joining Curana Health, John worked at Deloitte from 2014 to 2022. During their tenure, they served as a Senior Manager from August 2019 to October 2022, where they gained project leadership experience in various strategies, including value-based care, corporate strategy, growth strategy, performance improvement, and operational due-diligence. John worked closely with clients, including national and regional health plans, delivery networks, hospitals, post-acute care providers, pharmacies, and private-equity firms. In addition, they held the roles of Manager from August 2016 to August 2019 and Senior Consultant from October 2014 to July 2016.

John also has experience working as a Hospital Pricing Analyst at Jacaranda Health in 2014 and as a Sales Director at Parata Systems / McKesson APS from 2007 to 2010. John began their career at General Electric, where they worked as a Sales Specialist from 2006 to 2007 and completed the Commercial Leadership Program from 2005 to 2006.

John Emami completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business during the years of 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Business from Virginia Tech, graduating between 2001 and 2005.
