Melanie Winskie Crowe is the Chief Compliance & HIPAA Officer at Curana. Melanie has over 15 years of experience in the legal field, including as a Legal Consultant for the past year. In this role, they provide legal advice, contract review, and related legal services to individuals and businesses. Melanie has a wealth of experience in data privacy and security, having advised on multiple large-scale cloud transformation projects. Melanie is also experienced with GDPR, CCPA, GLBA, HIPAA, and similar privacy regimes both domestic and international.

Melanie Crowe attended the University of Georgia School of Law, where they obtained their JD. Melanie also holds a BS in Math and Psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Melanie is certified by the State Bar of Georgia and the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPPUS). Melanie is also certified by ecfirst as a Certified HIPAA Professional.
