CJ Kovarik, PharmD

CJ Kovarik, PharmD has a diverse work experience in the pharmacy field. Starting in 2005, CJ worked as a Cashier at Target before transitioning to a Pharmacy Intern role at Target in 2007. In this position, CJ had various responsibilities including medication dispensing, counseling patients, processing insurance claims, and assisting in compound medication preparations. CJ continued with Target until 2013. From 2013 to 2020, CJ worked at Publix Pharmacy, starting as a Floating Pharmacist and then becoming a Pharmacy Manager. At Publix Pharmacy, CJ gained experience in managing pharmacy operations and providing pharmaceutical services. Most recently, CJ joined Curant Health in 2020 as a Patient Engagement Pharmacist, where they have been responsible for patient engagement and counseling.

CJ Kovarik, PharmD, completed a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree at South University from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, CJ earned an AA degree in Chemistry/Biology from the University of North Florida between 2007 and 2010. In 2015, CJ obtained a certification in Delivering Medication Therapy Management Services from the American Pharmacists Association. Additionally, in September 2013, CJ became a licensed pharmacist in Georgia and in August 2013, CJ acquired a license from the Florida Board of Pharmacy. CJ also obtained a Pharmacy Based Immunization Certification from the American Pharmacist Association in February 2011. Lastly, CJ holds a Basic Life Support Provider certification from the American Heart Association obtained in 2010.
