Sarah Coote

Sarah Coote has a diverse work experience beginning in 2015. Sarah began as the Director of Bruce Martin Gallery, where they were responsible for providing emerging artists with a residency to develop a show. That same year, they were also an Adjunct Instructor and Pre-College Faculty at Virginia Commonwealth University, teaching drawing, painting, and providing mentorship to students applying to college art programs. In 2017, they took on the role of Office Manager at Steven Holl Architects, managing travel booking, accounting and processing bills, and ordering supplies and repairs. In 2018, they worked as Practice Manager at Billings Jackson Design, responsible for working across teams on day-to-day administration in the New York and London offices, project development, and financial coordination. Sarah also worked as Graphic Designer at Keiko Narahashi Studio, redesigning their website and organizing their publication archive. That same year, they took on the role of Studio Manager at Borna Sammak Studio, managing their timeline, budget, and financial coordination. Finally, in 2022, Sarah Coote became the Director of Programming at CuratedCare.Com.

Sarah Coote completed their Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design in 2013.
