Lesley Slaton Brown

Lesley Slaton Brown is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer at the National Basketball Association since February 2023. In addition to this role, Lesley is a member of the Board of Trustees at the University of California, Merced, and co-founder and board member of Curated Pathways™ to Innovation. Lesley has extensive experience in marketing and diversity strategy, having worked as a Global Diversity and Inclusion Officer at HP, and as a marketing consultant since 2013, focusing on broadening the participation of minorities and women in STEM fields. Lesley's previous roles at HP included leading marketing initiatives and managing substantial advertising budgets, and early career experience included corporate communications with Washington Group International. Lesley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Boise State University and has completed the Black Leaders Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
