Russell Farris BSN, RN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Russell began their career as a Contract RN in the ICU and ER departments for multiple employers from 2009 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, Russell worked as a Flight Nurse for REACH Air Medical Services, providing pre-hospital care and collaborating with EMS/Fire teams. Russell then joined Banner - University Medical Center as an ICU SWAT/Rapid Response RN from 2016 to 2018, where they provided clinical and technical support for various ICU units. In 2018, Russell co-founded NPlaced-NP Student Placements, an agency that successfully placed nurse practitioner students in clinical rotations before being acquired by Preceptorlink in 2020. From 2018 to 2022, they worked as a Contract RN in the ICU, ER, and Cath-Lab departments for Austin Area Hospitals. In 2021, Russell joined WellMed Medical Management as a Clinical Quality Consultant and later became an Associate Director of Quality from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they work as a Clinical Operations Director for Curative.

Russell Farris BSN, RN completed their Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Otero College between 2004 and 2007. Russell then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Chamberlain University, which they obtained in 2009. In 2023 and 2024, Russell attended The University of Texas at Austin and earned a Master of Science - MS in Health Care Transformation.
