Keith Hechtel, DBA has over 20 years of experience in business development, sales, and marketing roles in the plastics industry. Keith has served as the Senior Director of Business Development at Curbell Plastics since 2005, leading a team responsible for sales, training, field market development, and technical support. Prior to that, they were the Director of Business Development at American Profol, where they managed sales, marketing, and business development for the manufacturing of cast polypropylene films. Keith also worked at Westlake Plastics as a Technical Services Engineer, handling sales, technical support, and field market development for plastic sheet, rod, tube, and film products. In addition to their industry experience, Keith has been an Adjunct Instructor at D'Youville College since 2014, teaching undergraduate and MBA-level business courses in Business Communication and Organizational Leadership.

Keith Hechtel, DBA, began their education journey at SUNY Oneonta, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geology from 1981 to 1985. Following their undergraduate studies, they enrolled at Illinois State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Technology between 1991 and 1993.
