Rich Piette

Rich Piette has a strong background in technology leadership, with extensive experience as a CTO. Rich is currently working as the CTO at Curbio since January 2019. Prior to this, they held the same role at Tracx from April 2017 to December 2018 and at AcuTech Software LLC from June 2016 to April 2017. Rich also served as the Vice President of Technology at a2z, Inc. from July 2015 to June 2016. Before that, they were the Vice President of Engineering at Cision, where they led engineering operations and helped integrate multiple cultures and processes following a merger. From February 2011 to June 2014, Rich worked at Vocus as the Director of Product Development, managing development teams and serving as the point of contact for high-priority customer-facing issues. Rich was promoted to the role of Manager of Product Development from January 2008 to February 2011, where they created a more structured and mature team. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Web Applications Developer at Vocus from November 2000 to January 2008, contributing to system architecture and implementing new features. Rich Piette has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.
