Brian Murphy has extensive experience in sales and coaching, currently serving as the Southeastern Regional Sales Manager at Curbtender, Inc. since October 2020. Prior to this role, Brian held the position of Regional Sales Manager at Wastequip from August 2015 to September 2020, where Brian excelled in OEM and aftermarket parts sales. Brian's coaching career includes significant roles such as Special Teams Coordinator for the Carolina Panthers and Minnesota Vikings, where achievements included multiple division championships and coaching Pro Bowl players. Additionally, Brian has a strong academic background, holding a Master's degree in Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Lehigh University.

Curbtender, Inc. designs and manufactures refuse collection vehicles in Cedar Falls, Iowa and Gothenburg, Nebraska. Our goal is to produce high performance, durable products that offer customers a lower total cost of ownership (TCO). We believe in conducting our business with world-class service and respect. Curbtender Inc derives its name from the storied Curbtender automated side loading refuse truck (ASL). Developed in the early 1970’s, the Curbtender was the first commercially produced ASL in the US waste industry. It quickly became the benchmark for performance thanks to its 2,000 pound lift arm capacity and 1,000 pound per cubic yard compaction rating. This flagship product was renamed the PowerPak in 2017 and is now equipped with an industry-best 5 year standard warranty. In addition to producing 13 different refuse truck models, Curbtender has also begun integrating its products with all electric truck chassis platforms. XL Fleet and Curbtender recently partnered to develop fully electric and plug-in hybrid refuse trucks.
