Haben Birhane

Dr. Haben Birhane serves as an Ear, Nose, and Throat surgeon at CURE Zambia, where he works to evaluate and treat pediatric patients with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck pathologies. He loves the ability to go beyond physical care and be involved in CURE’s mission to intentionally minister and share the good news with patients and their families.

Dr. Haben graduated with his doctorate from Adama Science and Technology University. He completed his specialty training in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (ENT Surgery) at St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College. He also worked at Hawassa University Comprehensive Specialized Hospital as a General practitioner in the ENT department for about two and half years as an ENT Surgeon/Specialist.
