Sylvia Kawira

Sylvia Kawira serves as CURE’s Director of Nursing Quality & Patient Safety. She manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of the network’s overall quality improvement (QI) program to ensure appropriate accreditation compliance.

Sylvia is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s degrees in Nursing from Kenya Methodist University and MSC Healthcare Management from Kenyatta University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in MSC Health Systems Management at Kenya Methodist University.

Sylvia comes to CURE with almost 25 years of work experience, including extensive nursing administration and hospitals accreditation systems management. She loves the opportunity to serve children and families at CURE..
