John Alex

John Alex is currently serving as a Multiple Sulfatase Deficiency Student Ambassador at CureMSD and has held a position as a Teaching Assistant for a Microbiology Lab at the University of Rochester Medical Center. John has managed roles at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Rochester, NY as a Family Room Volunteer Manager and has contributed as a Student Alumni Ambassador for the University of Rochester Advancement. Experience includes crisis counseling at Crisis Text Line, internships with Johns Hopkins Medicine and the Social Organization for Voluntary Action, and involvement in the Roclab consultancy. Education includes a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Rochester and ongoing studies towards a Master of Science in Genetic Counseling at Rutgers University–New Brunswick.
