Ann-Kathrin Widmann

Ann-Kathrin Widmann is an experienced professional in quality assurance and pharmaceutical technology. Currently serving as a Quality Assurance Manager at CureVac since December 2022, Ann-Kathrin has a strong academic background with a PhD candidacy in Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmacy at Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, where a thesis focused on the extraction of Curcuma longa L. using supercritical CO2 was completed. Ann-Kathrin has also worked as a Research Associate and Assistant Teacher, engaging in university teaching that included seminars and laboratory work supervision on various dosage forms and biopharmacy. Prior to this, Ann-Kathrin gained practical experience through internships at KVP Pharma+Veterinär Produkte GmbH and Schwabenland Apotheke, after earning a Staatsexamen in Pharmacy from the University of Tübingen.
