Nicolas van Boven

Nicolas Van Boven is an experienced professional in the fields of digital integration, data management, and bioinformatics within the life sciences sector. Currently serving as VP Digital and Data for R&D and VP Bioinformatics at CureVac since May 2022, Nicolas previously held the position of Head of IT at Ablynx, where responsibilities included leading IT initiatives across the R&D domain. Prior experience includes a decade at Accenture, where Nicolas managed global biopharma accounts and drove innovation in patient and commercial services. Nicolas's career began in business development and IT project management roles at Partena Ziekenfonds & Partners and MLOZ. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Biotechnology from Ghent University and an MBA from Vlerick Business School.
