Michael A. Agustin has had a long and varied career in the tech industry. In 2007, they co-founded GameSalad, Inc and served as a board member. In 2011, they became an angel investor for Tonx, Inc. In 2012, they co-founded Weaver Labs and served as CEO. Michael A. also served as a mentor for YetiZen and Disney Accelerator in 2012 and 2014 respectively. In 2013, they became an advisor for Tsugi, Inc. and Joog!. In 2015, they became a Resident Mentor & Ecosystem Builder for (MaGIC) Malaysian Global Innovation & Creativity Centre. In 2016, they became the UTx Director of Software Innovation for The University of Texas System. In 2018, they became the CEO & Co-Founder of Curie, building 3D affordably and at scale to fuel the Metaverse.
Michael A. Agustin attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a BA in Computer Science. Michael A. then attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2005 to 2007, where they earned a MET in Entertainment Technology. Michael A. is currently enrolled at 500 Startups.
