John "Scrap" Degnan, MBA has a diverse work experience in the media and broadcasting industry. John "Scrap" started their career in 2001 as a Program Director and Morning Host at KTTB FM, where they worked until 2003. From 2004 to 2012, they worked at iHeartRadio as a Program Director for various stations, including WBTT FM, where they successfully implemented strategies that improved the station's performance. John "Scrap" then joined Curio in 2008 as a Digital Media & Broadcast Content Consultant, working with clients worldwide. In 2017, they became the Program Director for Afternoons at WFFY FM, Fly 98.5, Hip Hop at Sun Broadcasting, Inc., where they worked until 2020. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in programming, creative marketing, and team management.

John "Scrap" Degnan, MBA has pursued a diverse education history in various institutions. John "Scrap" attended Vanderbilt University - Owen Graduate School of Management, where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Brand Management. Following this, they pursued Studies in Master of Arts (MA) in Communications at Fordham University. Degnan also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Journalism from the University of Florida. In 2021, they obtained a Digital Marketing Badge from The Wharton School, specializing in Customer Centricity, Acquisition, Retention, Regression, Social Media, Social Networking, and other related areas.
