Orlando Jay Allen

Orlando Jay Allen, DSL has a diverse work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Orlando Jay began their career in the Army in 1991, where they served for 20 years in various logistic positions, including their notable appointment as the Directorate of Logistics Theater Food Operations Area Supervisor. After leaving the Army in 2011, they joined Bering Straits Information Technologies as an Analyst, specializing in contract support and backorder reduction. In 2012, they transitioned to the Defense Logistics Agency, working as a Management Analyst and Product Specialist/Tech Quality, responsible for internal control programs and ensuring quality assurance and reliability of materiel and services. In 2018, they joined Mondelēz International as a Quality System Supervisor, overseeing the development and management of quality assurance systems for manufacturing. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Business Systems Analyst at 1prospect Technologies, LLC before joining Curio Wellness. At Curio Wellness, they held roles as a Site Compliance / Quality Manager and is currently serving as the Regional Director of Quality & Compliance.

Orlando Jay Allen, DSL, earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Acquisition & Contract Management from Florida Institute of Technology in 2011-2012. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2001 to 2010. Orlando Jay also holds additional certifications, including a Demonstrated Senior Logistician certification obtained in 2012 and a Manufacturing & Production & Quality Assurance Level II certification from Defense Acquisition University.
