Valerie Ryder

Valerie Ryder is a professional with extensive experience in both the education and healthcare industries. Currently serving as Science Manager on the Product Innovation Team at Curio Wellness since January 2018, Valerie has also held roles as Assistant Manager in the dispensary and Patient Care Advisor. Prior to this, a career in education included positions as a Spanish Teacher and Department Chair at Biddeford High School and Homer Junior High School, as well as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University. Valerie holds a Master's Degree in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, and a Master’s Degree in Spanish Language, Literature, and Linguistics from Syracuse University. Additionally, a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language Teacher Education was earned from the State University of New York Cortland, with further study completed at Universidad de Salamanca.
