Caterina Gennaro has been working in the media industry since 2000. Caterina began their career as a Producer, Director, Underwater Video & Photography, and On-Camera Talent at Shark Entertainment. In 2002, they joined the Advisory Board Member of Shark Research Institute. From 2004 to 2007, they were self-employed as a Producer, Director, Underwater Video & Photography, and On-Camera Talent. In 2007, they founded and created Pole-Aria - Aerial Flight, and in 2008, they founded and created Pole-Flight. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at Getty Images as a Contributing Editor- Creative Content : Images, Film & Journalism, Contributing Photographer-Writer, Creative and Editorial Content- Contributing Editor-Journalist-Film-Photographer, and Contributing Editor, Photography & Film. In 2018, they joined National Geographic as a Contributing Writer & Researcher. In 2017, they worked at Direct Cinema Ltd. as a Content Developer-Writer-Film-Maker. Currently, they are a Producer-Creative Content- at CuriosityStream.
Caterina Gennaro began their educational journey in 1988, when they earned a Master of Science in International Business/Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. Caterina then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in International Business from American University Washington College of Law in 1994. In 1995, Gennaro began their studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, where they earned a Bachelor's of Marine Science in 1999. In 1989, Gennaro also earned an Associate of Science in a Sports Medicine Program from The American College of Sports Medicine.
