Tracey Wise Finkelstein has a long and varied work history. Tracey began their career in 1996 as a Development Assistant at Fox Family Films. In 1997, they moved to Disney Telefilms as a Development Assistant. In 1999, they became Co-Chair and Board of Trustees Member of the Sally Picow Foundation for the Screen Students Fellowship Program. From 1999-2001, they were Director of Development at Fountain Productions, a Walt Disney Studios company. From 2001-2004, they were Manager of Development at DisneyToon Studios. In 2004, they moved to The Learning Annex as Program Director and Senior Events Producer. From 2007-2011, they were Director of Career Development at Los Angeles Film and Recording Schools. From 2011-2013, they were a Freelance Copywriter, Web Writer and Editor. Since 2020, they have been Director of Programming for One Day University at Curiosity Inc. In this role, they find and recruits top professors from prestigious universities, researches and develops diverse course ideas, and writes, edits and proofreads content for their website, newsletters, blog and marketing materials.
Tracey Wise Finkelstein received their High School Diploma from Ramapo High School in 1989. Tracey then attended Brandeis University where they earned a B.A. in English and American Literature in 1993. In 1995, they completed their M.A. in Critical Studies, Film and Television from the University of California, Los Angeles. Tracey also holds two additional M.A. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles in Film and Television, Critical Studies.
