Steven McDonald

Steven McDonald serves as the Department Chair at the University of Denver, a role undertaken since 2010, with responsibilities including overseeing technical operations and managing several productions annually. As a Scenery Director within DU's Theatre Tech Internship Program, Steven collaborates with various theatre companies, including Curious Theatre Company, Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company, Veritas Productions at ParkerArts, LOCAL Theater Company, and Phamaly Theatre Company, to execute and deliver scenery for numerous productions. Steven's experience also includes serving as Technical Director and Production Manager at DU, where responsibilities encompass planning and supervising technical activities. Steven holds an MFA in Theatre from UC Irvine and a BA in History and Theatre from the University of Colorado Boulder.
