Nikolaos Ektoras Anestos has a diverse work experience that spans several industries. Nikolaos Ektoras started their career as a Technician at G4S Telematix, where they programmed and maintained telematic equipment in various vehicles. Nikolaos Ektoras also worked on adapting the equipment for security tracking purposes in ATM and vending machines, collaborating closely with the R&D department.

After that, Nikolaos worked as a Web Developer at Web and Art Solutions, where they focused on web development projects. Nikolaos Ektoras then moved on to KTH Royal Institute of Technology as a Teaching Assistant, responsible for labs in the Distributed Systems Basic Course.

Nikolaos then joined Twobo Technologies as a Software Engineer, where they developed various solutions including an API, command line scripts, and web interfaces for managing and verifying product licenses. Nikolaos Ektoras also created a Nodejs extension for OpenID Connect and iOS and Android native applications for clients.

Later, Nikolaos undertook an internship at Ericsson as a Researcher, where they gained valuable experience in the telecommunications industry. Nikolaos Ektoras also completed a Master Thesis Project during their time at Ericsson.

Currently, Nikolaos is working as a Software Engineer at Curity, where they are contributing their technical expertise in developing software solutions.

Nikolaos Ektoras Anestos completed their Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician at the Technological Educational Institute of Piraeus. Nikolaos Ektoras then pursued a Master's degree in Software Engineering of Distributed Systems at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Nikolaos has obtained several certifications, including Cryptography I, Functional Programming Principles in Scala, Gamification, Introduction To Swift Programming, Maps and the Geospatial Revolution, Metadata: Organizing and Discovering Information, and Startup Engineering, all from Coursera.
