Omar Ghani is an experienced professional with a strong background in procurement and strategic sourcing. Omar currently serves as the Vice President of Procurement at CURO Financial Technologies Corp, where they are responsible for building the company's first procurement practice across their U.S. and Canada brands. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Airflip and as the Director of Strategic Sourcing and Procurement at Reddit, Inc. During their time at Reddit, they achieved over $90 million in savings over two years and led a team of sourcing and operations professionals. Before that, Omar held the position of Director of Strategic Sourcing at TripActions, where they conducted over 170 procurement reviews during the Covid-19 pandemic. Omar also has experience working at Lyft, Unilever, Dow, and the City of Austin, where they gained expertise in procurement, supply chain, and purchasing coordination. In their early career, Omar served as a travel co-chair and cyclist at Texas 4000 for Cancer, where they were responsible for planning and routing a charity bike ride from Austin, Texas to Anchorage, Alaska and raising funds for cancer research. Throughout their career, Omar Ghani has consistently demonstrated strong leadership and a track record of driving cost savings and operational efficiencies in procurement and strategic sourcing functions.

Omar Ghani holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration degree in Supply Chain Management from the Texas McCombs School of Business. In 2018, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the Lam Family College of Business at San Francisco State University, completing it in 2020. Omar also obtained a Coupa Platform Certification from Coupa Software in 2019.
