Sergey Kovalev

Sergey Kovalev has been working in the software engineering field since 2007. Sergey began their career as a Telecommunication Engineer and C++ Developer at Belinfosat. In 2008, they worked as a Telecommunication Engineer, Java, and C++ Developer at IBA Group, where they were responsible for developing and implementing management algorithms for a telecommunication equipment management system for the Ministry of Defence. In 2009, they worked as a Java Developer at BelPrime Solutions, where they developed a high-performance online Search Engine Optimization tool for Internet marketers. In 2012, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at SaM Solutions, where they took an active part in developing the system's core modules for a location-based advertisement service. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as a Solutions Architect at Altoros Systems, where they were engaged in designing and developing large-scale data analytics platform for Oil & Gas industry. Since 2018, they have been working as a Senior Software Engineer at Capital.com and Currency.com, where they are responsible for revolutionizing cryptocurrency investment by enabling anyone with Bitcoin or Ethereum to trade financial assets from the world's biggest companies.

Sergey Kovalev obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics between 2014 and 2015. Sergey also obtained a Master's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunication networks from the same university between 2003 and 2008. In addition, they obtained a Machine Learning certification from Coursera in January 2014 and a Sun Certified Programmer for the Java Platform, Standard Edition 6.0 certification in March 2009.
