Gareth Raymond

Gareth Raymond has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Gareth most recently served as the Head Of Commercial Finance / Senior Director at Currencycloud, where they played a crucial role in the company's successful sale to Visa. Gareth'sresponsibilities included leading M&A due diligence and post-acquisition integration activities, as well as strategic financial and non-financial projects with the C-Suite. Prior to that, Gareth worked at Amazon as the UK Country Manager for Business Payments and as a Senior Product Manager in Global Finance Operations. Gareth also gained valuable experience at Morgan Stanley, where they held the position of Vice President Business Management, overseeing commercial, operational, and financial management. Before that, Gareth worked at Atos as a Commercial Finance Manager and Financial Controller, and at Calsonic Kansei Corporation as a Financial Cost Controller. Gareth began their career at Logica as a Graduate Management Trainee. Gareth also took time off for backpacking between 2001 and 2003.

Gareth Raymond received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from Swansea University between the years 1998 and 2001. Gareth also obtained the Association of Chartered Management Accountants (ACMA) certification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) in 2009. Additionally, they obtained the Excel: Value Stream Mapping certification from LinkedIn in 2020.
