Tom Orvei

Tom Orvei is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at CURRENT, a company focused on developing a software platform for enterprise customers to manage and scale charging infrastructure for Electric Vehicles (EVs). Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Oculos, where they successfully managed and grew the business, leading to a steady top-line average growth of 15% in gross profit per year from 2015 to 2019. Tom also served as the Chief Commercial Officer at Oculos, driving key account growth and leading sales processes. Earlier in their career, Tom held the role of Head of Customer Relationship Management at Avis Budget Group EMEA, where they improved the customer experience in Scandinavian countries by implementing a new CRM system. Tom also worked as a Business Strategy Manager at Avis Budget Group EMEA, where they developed business cases for growth and profitability. Tom has a strong track record of driving growth, managing acquisitions, and building successful teams.

Tom Orvei attended the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) from 2019 to 2020, where they engaged in the field of study focused on Management Development. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at BI Norwegian Business School between 1995 and 1999. In terms of additional certifications, Tom obtained the HubSpot Marketing Software certification from HubSpot in February 2020, along with the HubSpot Solutions Partner certification during the same month and year. Tom also acquired the Inbound Marketing certification from HubSpot in December 2019.
