Matteo Serone has held various roles in the finance and business sectors since 2012. In 2012, they were an Intern at Comune di Prarolo. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Business Officer and Intern at FIDINAM Group Worldwide. Since 2019, they have been a Card Program Manager, Card Program Steering Committee Member, Sales Executive, and Trade Finance Analyst at Currenxie, where they are responsible for managing the Card Programme with ongoing liaisons with various internal and external stakeholders and continuous product development, fraud monitoring, supervision of card related customer assistance, business development, development of policies and practices, integration with mobile wallets via token provisioning, and multi-card issuance via tokenisation. Matteo 鄭馬太歐 is also responsible for developing and expanding the business network and relationships in Taiwan for all Currenxie products, liaising with the local Chambers of Commerce, business associations, and providers.

Matteo Serone obtained their B.Sc. International Economics and Finance from Università Bocconi from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained their Diploma di Maturità Classica from Liceo Ginnasio Luigi Lagrangia from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Anti Money Laundering for Money Service Businesses APAC from Thomson Reuters in October 2021, Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing (AML-APAC) from Thomson Reuters in October 2020, HSK 4 from Hanban Confucius Institute in January 2020, JLPT N5 from The Japan Foundation in January 2016, ECDL from AICA - Associazione Italiana per l'Informatica e il Calcolo Automatico in September 2013, CAE from University of Cambridge in April 2013, and FIPSAS-3 Stars Diver from CMAS - World Underwater Federation.
