Ginann Franklin

Director of Libraries & Educational Technology at Currey Ingram Academy

Ms. Ginann Franklin, Director of Libraries and Educational Technology, has been at Currey Ingram Academy since 2012. She began working in libraries at the age of 15 and has an MLS from the University of Alabama. As part of the LibTech team, she teaches information and media literacy skills, helps with planning and implementing Currey Ingram's digital citizenship curriculum and technology curriculum as well as provides Professional Development for teachers. She's a Common Sense Educator and Ambassador as well as a winner of the Center for Digital Education’s 2016 Top 30 Technologists, Transformers & Trailblazers award. Additionally, she has presented at ISTE via poster sessions and was chosen for an ISTE Ignite session in 2017. She’s passionate about empowering students to become critical thinkers and problem solvers.
