Michael Simpson

Michael Simpson is a registered engineering professional with the Engineering Council and a Fellow of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (FIHEEM). They have extensive experience in operational strategy, transformation, and program management, particularly within the health and public sectors. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Estates, Facilities & Sustainability at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust, Michael has previously held positions such as Project Leader at South Kesteven District Council and Associate Director at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Michael earned a BSc (Hons) in Civil and Structural Engineering from Nottingham Trent University and was recognized as the best directorate to work for in the 2023/24 NHS staff survey.
