Saqib S.

Saqib S. has over 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure and security. Saqib is currently the Group Head of IT Infrastructure at Currie & Brown, where they are responsible for developing and implementing the company's IT infrastructure and security strategy. Prior to this, Saqib worked as a Team Lead Systems Engineering at RFA, managing a highly technical team responsible for infrastructure design and support. Saqib also served as the Head of IT Infrastructure and Security at Ted Baker, where they led a team in delivering a reliable and secure IT platform and managed various projects. Saqib's earlier experience includes roles at Tiffany & Co. as the EMEA IT Infrastructure Lead and support engineer, as well as an Operations Support Coordinator at Virgin Retail.

Saqib S. began their education in 1992 at Lister Community School, where they completed their GCSEs in 1997. Saqib then attended Newham College of Further Education from 1997 to 1999, although no degree or field of study is specified. From 1999 to 2003, they attended the University of Westminster and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Internet Computing.

Additionally, Saqib S. has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they received the CompTIA A+ Certification, followed by the CompTIA Network+ Certification and the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist – CIOS Stackable Certification in 2010. In 2012, they became a CCNA - Cisco Certified Network Associate. Saqib S. achieved the PRINCE2 Registered Practitioner certification in 2017. Finally, in recent years, they obtained the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification in 2019, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification in 2020, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification in 2021. The institutions granting these certifications include Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), PEOPLECERT, Cisco, and CompTIA.
