Jim Owens

Jim Owens is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project management, education, and skills assessment in the IT sector. Currently serving as a Sessional Academic at Curtin University and an IT Skills Assessor for the Australian Computer Society, Jim has a long-standing role as Director at Intelligent Development Services since June 1993, focusing on project management and training. As an Accredited Consultant for the SFIA Foundation, Jim aids in identifying the necessary skills for effective information systems development. Additionally, Jim is a columnist and lead educator for PMHub, contributing to free PMP and CAMP certification study resources. Past roles include Managing Editor for the ACS Offline Magazine, Senior Tutor and Course Author for ACS Education, and Project Manager at HCN, among others. Jim Owens holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and related fields from Queen's University Belfast.
