Simon Drew

Simon Drew is an experienced engineer and researcher specializing in vibration analysis and condition monitoring of static and rotating machinery. Currently serving as an Adjunct Research Fellow at Curtin University, Simon has previously held significant positions including Senior Reliability Engineer at BHP and Lead Engineer at Asset Integrity Consultants Pty Ltd. A strong background in mechanical engineering, supported by a PhD from the University of Western Australia, encompasses roles at various organizations where Simon led projects involving turbo-machinery, integrity engineering, and advanced vibration diagnostics across sectors such as oil and gas, mining, and power generation. Contributions include overseeing condition monitoring projects and developing innovative testing methodologies for vibration-related applications.
