Simon Winetroube is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in language education and cultural relations. Since September 2012, Simon has served as the Director of Curtin English at Curtin University, overseeing pathway programs that enhance students' English language skills and academic literacy while also managing offshore initiatives in collaboration with partner universities in China. Prior roles include Country Director for the British Council in Qatar, where Simon strengthened UK-Qatar cultural ties, and various managerial positions within the British Council across the Middle East, Ethiopia, and Russia, focusing on educational reforms and project management.
