Sophie Hughes

Sophie Hughes is a Project Engineer at Curtins, having started in September 2021, and previously held the title of Graduate Structural Engineer within the same company from August 2019 to July 2020. Sophie's experience includes roles as a Graduate Civil Engineer at Stantec and a Graduate Structural Engineer at Smithers Purslow Ltd, as well as a summer placement as a Student Engineer at Laing O'Rourke on the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre project. Additionally, Sophie serves as a STEM Ambassador with STEM Ambassadors since September 2019. Sophie holds a Master of Engineering in Civil Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University, completed in 2019, and attended Broughton Hall High School from 2008 to 2015. Prior experience also includes working as a Customer Assistant at Everton Two from June 2016 to June 2018.
