Hugh Sung

Hugh Sung is a highly experienced music professional, currently serving as the Director of Institutional Solutions at Cunningham Piano Company since August 2016. In addition, Hugh is the host and executive producer of A Musical Life Podcast, which has been airing since November 2015, featuring interviews with notable figures in the music industry. As a piano instructor at ArtistWorks Inc. since December 2014, Hugh provides online piano education to students worldwide. Hugh also holds a staff pianist position at the Curtis Institute of Music since September 2014 and has held various roles within the institute, including Director of Student Recitals and Instrumental Accompaniment from 1993 to 2009, and faculty position in Collaborative Piano from 2009 to 2012. Hugh co-founded AirTurn, Inc. in 2008 and served as VP of Communications until September 2014, contributing to the development of innovative technologies for music education. Hugh's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and a Bachelor of Music from the Curtis Institute of Music, earned between 1983 and 1990.
