Currently serving as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer and Senior Product Engineer at Curtis Instruments, Inc. since June 2018, Florent is involved in the development of DC-DC converters, validation of new silicon, and customer support. Prior to this role, Florent worked at Texas Instruments from October 2011 to June 2018 as an Application Engineer, focusing on automating lab equipment and aiding key automotive system suppliers. Earlier experience includes serving as a System Application Engineer at National Semiconductor, where the design of power converters for solar panel optimization was a primary responsibility. Florent's academic background includes a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University and research experience as a research assistant and scientist, along with a role as a Development Engineer at PowerFilm Inc.
