MaryEllen McLaughlin is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and software development. Currently serving as Staff Software Engineer at Curtis Instruments since January 2022, MaryEllen has been instrumental in updating products to integrate with new CAN specifications and developing ARM-based Linux embedded products with GUI tools. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Software Engineer at both Curtis Instruments and Optimum Semiconductor Technologies Inc., where responsibilities encompassed writing bare metal firmware and Linux device drivers for new hardware. Additional roles include Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Ludl Electronic Products and Software Engineer at Medical Laboratory Automation, where MaryEllen developed critical software for blood analysis machines and motor control modules. MaryEllen holds an M.S. in Computer Science from New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Lafayette College.
