Kate Fairweather has extensive work experience in the legal industry, with a focus on business development and marketing. Kate began their career at Mishcon de Reya, where they worked as a Trainee Solicitor and later as a Business Development Manager. Kate then held marketing roles at Simmons & Simmons and Linklaters before joining Arup as a Senior Marketing Consultant. Kate also served as the Owner of Lexicon, a role they held for 13 years. Kate later joined Knightley Search & Selection as a Non Executive Director. Currently, they are the Director of Business Development and Marketing at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, responsible for both domestic and international business development strategies.

Kate Fairweather received a CIM Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, from 1995 to 1996. Prior to that, they attended Northumbria University Law School from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained a CPE and Law Society Finals degree. Kate also completed their undergraduate studies at the University of York from 1986 to 1990, majoring in Politics and Philosophy.
