Dr. Jochen Fuhr

Dr. Jochen Fuhr has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Dr. Jochen started their career in 1991 as a Hauptmann (Captain) in the German Federal Armed Forces. After serving for five years, they transitioned into the corporate sector.

Their career in the corporate sector began in 1996 when they joined Curtiss-Wright Corporation as a Manager of Technical Sales. Dr. Jochen then worked for the Camozzi Group as a Sales Manager from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they became a Technical Sales Manager at DECKEL MAHO Seebach GmbH from 2002 to 2003.

In 2003, Dr. Fuhr joined NIKKEN Deutschland GmbH as the Manager of Sales for a period of two years. In 2005, they returned to Curtiss-Wright Corporation, where they held various positions including Area Manager/Prokurist/GF from 2005 to 2013, Director of Sales & Marketing Europe & Asia from 2013 to 2020, General Manager of North American Shot Peening from 2018 to 2020, and Regional Manager Asia and Developing Countries from 2020 to 2022. Currently, they serve as the Director of Global Sales in the Surface Technologies Division at Curtiss-Wright Corporation.

Dr. Jochen Fuhr received their Dr.-Ing. (Doctor of Engineering) degree in Natur- und Materialwissenschaften (Natural and Materials Science) from Technische Universität Clausthal in 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Dipl.-Ing. (univ.) (Graduate Engineer) degree in Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik (Aerospace and Aeronautics) from Universität der Bundeswehr München (University of the Armed Forces Munich) in 1991.
