Matt Smith

Matt Smith is a seasoned engineering professional with over two decades of experience in the field. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at EMD, a business unit of Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company since March 2001, Matt has honed expertise in engineering and design. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Design Engineer at Ford Motor Company from January 1994 to March 2001, focusing on Export and Emerging Markets Engineering across multiple countries including Mexico, Brazil, Australia, and the UK. Additionally, Matt began his career as a Research Assistant at Pennsylvania State University from June 1992 to December 1993, contributing to the design and construction of a prototype variable gravity rehabilitation system. Educational qualifications include both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State University, completed in 2003 and 1992, respectively.
