Louisa Cronin

Louisa Cronin has extensive experience in the buying and merchandising field, with a particular focus on fashion and lifestyle products. From 2022, they have been working as a Senior Buying and Merchandising Manager for Curvy Kate, specializing in lingerie, swimwear, and nightwear. Prior to that, they held a role as Buying Manager for Homeware & Lifestyle at Arthouse Limited, where they were responsible for product development and team leadership. Unfortunately, their position was made redundant due to cost increases and the impact of COVID.

Before that, Louisa worked as a Buying Consultant for Womenswear Apparel & Lifestyle at JOE BROWNS LTD. Louisa'smost significant role was as a Senior Buyer for Swimwear & Accessories at River Island, where they managed the design, buying, merchandising, and garment tech functions. Louisa achieved great success with annual sales of £17m.

Louisa also has experience as a Buyer for Accessories & Lifestyle at Tie Rack, where they had a significant impact on repositioning the brand and achieving positive performance after 15 years. Louisa started their career as a Junior Buyer for Jewellery & Accessories at ICON LIVE EUROPE LIMITED and worked as an Account Manager for Handbags & Fashion Accessories at Phase 2 Accessories.

Louisa's work experience also includes positions as an Assistant Buyer Level 3 at Oasis Stores Ltd. and an Assistant Buyer at Etam. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated strong negotiation skills, strategic decision-making, and the ability to drive profitable growth.

Louisa Cronin began their education at Elton High School from 1991 to 1996, where they obtained their GCSE. Louisa then attended Bury College from 1996 to 1998, but it is unclear if they obtained a degree or pursued any specific field of study during that time. Finally, from 1998 to 2001, Louisa attended Leeds Arts University, where they earned a BA (Hons) in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design.
