Dustin Williams

VP of Microbiology and New Technologies at Curza

Dustin Williams has extensive experience in the field of scientific research and academia. Dustin began their career as a Research Technologist at ARUP Laboratories in 2005 and worked there until 2008. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a Research Assistant at the University of Utah. Following this, they completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics from 2012 to 2014. In 2014, they became an Assistant Professor at the University of Utah School of Medicine and held this position until 2019. During this time, they also served as the Vice President of Microbiology and New Technologies at Curza from 2013 onwards. In 2017, they joined the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs as a Research Scientist, a role they held until 2021. Since 2019, Dustin has been an Associate Professor at the University of Utah College of Health. Dustin is currently the Chief Scientific Officer at Purgo Scientific, a position they have held since 2017.
