Sara Day has a diverse and extensive work experience in the marketing and communications field. Sara began their career in 2000 at Kellogg Company, where they held various roles of increasing responsibility. Sara has experience in managing P&L accountability, leading marketing planning and communications efforts, executing brand strategies and promotions, and driving regional marketing strategies. Sara also has experience in managing customer marketing for specific segments, such as K-12 schools and commercial and lodging. Additionally, they have experience in innovation marketing, contract manufacturing management, and overseeing a network of manufacturing sites. In 2020, Sara joined Custom Culinary as the Director of Channel Marketing. In 2013, they served as a board member for the Chicago Chapter of Action for Healthy Kids. Overall, Sara has a strong background in channel marketing, strategic planning, and driving business growth.
Sara Day pursued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they studied Food Science and Business, specializing in the Food Industry and Business. Following this, they attended Benedictine University to earn their MBA degree, focusing on Marketing and Innovation.
