Jesse Cates

Jesse Cates has extensive experience in software development, particularly in senior roles. Jesse started working as a Software Tester at bleem, inc. in 1999, where they were responsible for testing over one thousand games with a gaming console emulation program. In addition, they designed and maintained the Access Database used during testing and provided customer support.

In 2001, Jesse joined CTI Group as an SQA Specialist. During this time, they wrote and executed test plans and test cases, led testing teams, and coded automated scripts using the Winbatch/WIL language, following the IEEE 829 standards.

In 2004, Jesse joined Hosting.com as a Software Developer. In this role, they were involved in intranet, customer control panel, and corporate website development using ASP 3, COM+, and ASP.NET.

Jesse joined First American Financial Corporation in 2008 as a Senior Applications Developer and later moved to CoreLogic in the same role. At both companies, they maintained and updated mortgage management systems used by large mortgage servicers, utilizing ASP 3.0, COM/COM+, and ASP.NET/C#.

In 2011, Jesse joined Mercer as a Senior Software Developer, where they maintained and updated HR web applications used by corporations. Jesse worked with technologies such as Javascript/jQuery, AJAX, ASP.NET, C#, ASMX Web Services, and Oracle. Jesse also led the effort to convert existing code to reusable components and plugins.

Jesse continued their career as a Senior Software Developer at Composable Systems, LLC from 2017 to 2018, where they worked on software development projects.

In 2018, Jesse joined CloudFit Software, LLC as a Senior Software Developer, contributing to software development initiatives until 2019.

Currently, Jesse is working as a Senior Software Developer at Custom Data Processing Inc. (CDP), starting in 2019.

Jesse Cates attended Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 1997 to 1999, where they studied Aerospace Engineering. They did not complete a degree during this time.
