Carlos Montenegro is an experienced aviation professional currently serving as an Apprentice at Custom Helicopters Ltd. since June 2023, following a significant tenure as an Aircraft Mechanic at Aeromaster Airways from November 2010 to June 2022. In this role, Carlos was responsible for interpreting maintenance manuals and service bulletins, ensuring the feasibility of repairs, and certifying that completed work met operational standards. Prior to this, Carlos gained foundational skills as a Sheet Metal Apprentice with the Ecuadorian Air Force from October 2008 to October 2009, where responsibilities included determining project requirements and laying out materials according to blueprints. Carlos is pursuing a Diploma of Education in Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology/Technician at RRC Polytech, having previously earned a Technitian degree in Aircraft Mechanic, Airframe from Instituto Tecnologico Superior Aeronautico ITSA between 2007 and 2010.
